Interesting to see what they looked like when they were new. But... I suspect they didn't look that good!

There must be something seriously wrong with this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201497246576? ... EBIDX%3AIT
Looks like it's been stood for a while and the silver pinstriping looks like tape, but surely the trick bits are worth the asking price alone.

JE piston kits in the UK. Unsure if that is the most cost effective way to get your hands on some though:-

It's not, Chris- you can buy them in the States and even after paying import duty they come down to around £260, depending on the exchange rate.sirch345 wrote:JE piston kits in the UK. Unsure if that is the most cost effective way to get your hands on some though:-

Our czech site specialized for us items advertise them about 210 pounds, but sometimes reality is that shop is not actual. At the end, as there is no payment done with order, it can be worth try. Link is for one piece.tony.mon wrote:It's not, Chris- you can buy them in the States and even after paying import duty they come down to around £260, depending on the exchange rate.sirch345 wrote:JE piston kits in the UK. Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)
I would prefer custom made CP pistons over JE. Mine are 98,5 mm I assume there will be no problem to make 98 mm. Price is about 450 usd plus shipping and taxes (use shipito.com or similar), but including rings.
Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)
If you're buying oversize, buying rings is difficult. Last time I had to but oversize they had to come in from Japan, and I had to wait three weeks for a batch to be ready

Os honda pistons are not available, only new old stock. CP comes with rings, only problem for me was to find shop willing to do new bore for cylinders in crankcase.
