under tank pipe routing
not sure if this is different between the early and late models, the smaller diameter pipe that run into the underside of the tank, I assume it runs towards the front of the bike and exits near the oil filter like a lot of the other pipes. I haven't been able to find any pictures of how's it's routed, can anyone advise.
from the little I know, it runs across the top of the rear cam cover towards the nearside off the bike, so it'll tuck inside the frame, but at which point exactly?

Re: under tank pipe routing
having looked online at different websites and microfiches, I wasn't able to find the info I required, hence asking the question I did. i'd like to thank you for pointing out that the info I wanted was in the manual. although it's on page 1-21 not 1-18. I also didn't much like the way you replied to my humble question. so i'll leave it like this.Cadbury64 wrote:RTFM*agentpineapple wrote:not sure if this is different between the early and late models, the smaller diameter pipe that run into the underside of the tank, I assume it runs towards the front of the bike and exits near the oil filter like a lot of the other pipes. yes mate, I had a go this afternoon, but I seem to have a lot of extra pipe left over, so i'm wondering if it works it's way around the engine and back, a kind member has offered to ride down at the weekend so I can see the routing on his bike....carmanbikes wrote:Hiya APis it the pipe that has the reducer on it where it fits on the tank

You're welcome, I'm glad I was able to point you in the right direction to find the diagram that you needed. Sorry I was three pages out, and that you have taken umbrage at my antipodean humour.agentpineapple wrote:having looked online at different websites and microfiches, I wasn't able to find the info I required, hence asking the question I did. i'd like to thank you for pointing out that the info I wanted was in the manual. although it's on page 1-21 not 1-18. Re: under tank pipe routing
I ran mine out by the rear CCT as when it was up the front it filled up with water and stalled the bike. No problems since.agentpineapple wrote:not sure if this is different between the early and late models, the smaller diameter pipe that run into the underside of the tank, I assume it runs towards the front of the bike and exits near the oil filter like a lot of the other pipes.
