If you're still stuck, send them my way and I'll refurb them for you.

I can confirm Jonesey does a lovely job at a very reasonable price.

Cheers Jonesey, got a recommendation for you from Tony.mon too.

Bought a spare set off Tony which will get new seals and I'll see how I go from there. Colours will be mismatched front and rear but no one will spot that against the bag of sh1t that is the fairing.

Main goal is to get the damn thing on the road, making it look pretty is a task for the winter.

Tony's calipers now fitted with new seals and ready for bleeding.

The whole brake and clutch system on this bike has been an utter pain in the butt. Every part stripped and rebuilt and every step has been a war of attrition.

All the crush washers on the Firestorm are M10 right? Need to replace them and my local motor factor hasn't got any.

If your referring to the copper washers on the brake banjo's you can reuse them if you heat them up to re-anneal them. Hold with a pair of plies over the cooker gas ring or use a blow torch. It will burn any old fluid off, soften them up and look all shiny and new again ready for re-using.

Yes, but use old pliers as it will also damage the pliers' hardness while you're there.

Better yet, use a loop of wire and keep the pliers out of the heat.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Cheers but I'd discounted that as they look pretty thin, plus two are the original alloy ones that are more difficult to anneal. So I've read.

How many times can they be reused?

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I swapped some lines the other day, was a bit short on new washers so I reused the ones on there which had been changed recently...It leaked...

For what they cost use new every time... Not worth the hassle anulling them IMO. Unless your really tight like Carl...
