Hi,
A question for you all.
I have to store my bike outside, although it has various covers, so water tight.
I was going to fit a Solar trickle charger, as it doesn't get much use during the winter, just to keep the battery topped up.
Question is, do you have to disconnect the terminals from the bike when attaching the croc clips from the charger?

Your royal bobness - now I'm not one of the forum big brains for all things mechanical etc, but I have a Ctech charger conditioner that has leads for permanent battery terminal attachment, so when I need to plug in I just connect to the adapter - no need for crocs. Like in image below, so if it's fine for that then I guess you're good to just croc on

I have a CTEK on both bikes and one is fitted with permanent plug with ring connectors on the battery the other has the permanent connector as shown below that indicates with a flashing LED if the battery requires charging, this is because the CBF has an immobiliser and flattens the battery after about 2.5 weeks.

Sire, If I you, I would take the battery indoors and keep it charged there, prolonged cold weather doesn't do any favours to batteries.

Summer House? If you were at all regal it would be called the Orangery.
