front brake caliper pin question

can anyone tell me the correct length of the pin with the allen key head
item number 12

Check the image to the left, pin next to a mesure...looks like it's inches but easy enough to convert...

cheers mac, it's for a friends bike, the pin on the rhs caliper is chewed up. going to be a b stard to remove, I might have to remove the caliper and cut it out.

Ok firstly try hamering in an oversize torx bit that may get the bastid moving...

Failing that take em off & split the callipers, the pads & spring will fall out of the way, clamp the pin in a vice & turn the body to unscrew it the pin is fubar so you can clamp it up as hard as poss, clout the calliper with a rubber or hide mallet to get it moving...

I bought some titanium pins and had them coated with DLC to free up movement and prevent them from wearing; not cheap, but so far so good....
