cheers folks, il just step away from it for a while.. im hoping the rich running is because of the timing being wrong as iv had the carbs of and checked them a few times and cant see anything amiss with them or any of the pipes...

ok started from scratch ,front cyl set to. ft, rear cyl spun round the 3/4 it needed. cams wre all over the place. no idea what stroke they were on but pulled them out, fitted them as per the mcct thread. checked anything else i could like carbs and wiring and fired it up. first hit of the button and ticking over way better than it was, even sounded better so out for a we scoot.

no lumpy running just felt like a different bike :biggrin ... right up to 5.5k and the humpy blue b8stard is still the same.. refuses to rev through it and i held the fuker to see if it would....   ..

Simple thing to check...The petcock diaphragm for splits...then the carb diaphragm for splits or pin holes...

Also just a thought when you took it out for a run 1st time & run out of fule you may have pulled some crap out of the tank & into the carbs...be worth checking your fuel filter in the tank they can be a git to get out tho...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Based on the line highlighted above, he has put the timing to 180 deg out!!!!! if you start at the front cyl, you gou ACW by 3/4 turn to get the correct RT mark........... But I spoke to Rob already and he is sure he only did 3/4 turn... its just he cant type!!!

I think we need to put him on suicide watch 8O

i lokked at that timing so many times i got myself in a tiz esp when it was fixed it still ran crap so ended up questioning myself had i really fixed it, but having the ecu play up at the same time was masking anything i was doing with the cam timing..
