Re: Drain the fork
Are you serious
No remove the fork legs and do it properly, you need to get the correct amount back in and for that you need the forks off and standing upright any way.
It's not a difficult job and you've already got the wheel off.

Re: Drain the fork
Yes, no spring and the leg collapsed.___Norwegian___ wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 4:13 pm ..and the amount of oil from top is without the springs in place?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Drain the fork
130mm if the forks are standard. 140mm if you have uprated springs.. use 10weight oil. Don’t forget to pump the inner cartridge to empty and then again to refill it.___Norwegian___ wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 4:13 pm ..and the amount of oil from top is without the springs in place?

Re: Drain the fork
That was easy peacy
Filled up with 450ml with Motul Expert 10W, got air out of the damper, and sat it at 130mm from top, fully compressed and without spring. A rather easy bike wrenching at. (Done the valves and also installed M-CCT'ers) etc.
