End of days.......

Post by Seeker 77 »

Keren is going to have to have a termination next week. The baby has kidney dysplasia, it will not survive the birth. We are truly broken hearted. She will have to give birth to it, that will be the real nightmare. It will take a long time for us to get over this. Don't know what else to say. Can't stop crying. Feel useless, empty and numb. Keren is in pieces, we had just started to buy baby furniture and prams. We know that there will be others and that at least we know we can get pregnant but it doesn't make much difference at the moment. Go easy my friends. Mark

Desperately gutting news for you and yours. Sharing here, as I'm sure you've done with your families, is the best start to prepare treasuring and mourning your baby's tragically short life.

Is it one or both kidneys that are effected?

Holy sh1t.

Definitely one of those times when all the bad things that happen seem to pale into insignificance in the face of something truly awful.

I can't begin to imagine what you're feeling and can only offer my sincerest condolences.

Thanks all. Not much more to say, don't really know who to turn to. Suddenly living in Germany miles away from my family doesn't seem like such a good idea. Please keep us in your thoughts. Mark
