F/R Brake-Clutch line copper washers sizes

Could someone advise what the correct size copper washers are needed please to change brake lines and a clutch line and a pretty please with a cherry on top for a ebay link to buy said items.

I was told a tip recently that works on here

take the old ones, apply heat till they are proper hot, then reuse them and tighten

Tried it Monday when doing work i think and it's worked fine no issues to report :)

Also when you buy new hoses they come with washers mate, my HELL, VENHILL and Goodride kits all came supplied

They are not new but recycled and as to heating them up did you do it at gas mark 9 :lol:

That works for the copper ones, not for aluminium ones.

Hold them with a bit of wire (not insulated electrical wire, dummy!) instead of using pliers; you'll also soften the pliers......

And let them cool down slowly, don';t quench them in water or oil as they will just harden again.

Only about 50p from HEL brake lines
