Re: Starter clutch needed
I have two but they are both attached to engines. How quickly I can get one off depends on how quickly I can get a flywheel holder and puller. I'm in the process of splitting one of the engines already.

I'll let you know after the weekend. I'll be raiding the old man's garage on Saturday for tools.Stevo Kifaru wrote:If you get them done soon, I'll have one off you

Re: Starter clutch needed
Seeing as you are in Cov Lloydie that would be perfect, Martin Mellors will be doing the work for me
Re: Starter clutch needed
If you have a 1\2" air impact gun there is no need for a holder and the puller is just a 22X1.5 bolt

Re: Starter clutch needed
I have no idea to be honest, sprag clutch/one way bearing I think, Martin said they are the usual casualties in a big V twin. We haven't had it apart yet, but as I work nights it's quite important I get this done fast to be honest. Going to still have to try to use the bike as it is until I can get the work donelloydie wrote:I know him ! He works out his garage in the back road .

Re: Starter clutch needed
I'll phone Martin up to check what I need, as luck would have it he had a Virago in with the exact same problem so could show me the starter clutch assembly from that
