Sorry Gilson i was being a numpty and didnt read your post correctly.

So the vacum pipe can cause the bike to run poorly if connected wrongly. I will have a gander in the haynes manual and see if i can suss the routing you are describing.

Mine now seems to be running fine Gilson, not sure what you were meaning with regards the fuel pipe?

Hi All, On investigating another problem that Benny kindly helped identify i ended up having to remove the air filter, on doing so i can see that none of the two seals are fitted between the two halfs and the filter. you had the airbox off at all???? wondering if a breather from the cam cover might have come off or not been fitted proper. i expect youd see a bit of oil around the left rad tho if one was off?? Sorry should have also said Benny that there isnt any oil shown in the area you mention. Any other thoughts, i think I will take the tank off and have a look around. It couldnt be the seal at the filler could it?
