Thanks Tony that's good to know you can get in with spanners. I covered the bolt in threadlock and put paint marks on to track any movement so I hope its done, thanks again to all of you for superb help/advice and tips, wouldn't have tackled this job without this forum.

Got the bike back together and ran the engine, cant here any obvious clicking and I dont think they are too tight so hopefully got the tension correct :D those pipes under airfilter box are a so and so to connect and stay connected, I smeared a bit of grease on in the end. Ok, as you can see by the evidence they are swapped! I have not finished yet as I have to put the airbox,tank,seat, belly pan etc back together but the hard bit is done, will finish it Friday night hopefully when I next have time. Hi, I think they do whine a bit, mine does a bit and so does so does another I know of. Sort of a whistle / feint whine v-twin noise................... I'm not making sense am I................ I'll get my coat

On a bike generally makes turn in a bit slower with wider tyres. Will a 190 fit ok?
