Thanks for the advice. There's a dyno place local that comes with excellent recommedations. I've never been to one before and didn't realise they would do the jetting stuff for me. I'll get the new tyre, MOT and book a session.

Hi all, Got some bits to do this winter and was thinking of inproving the fuelling. I've got a pair of scorpians (which I run without the baffle except for the MOT) and an aftermarket k&n type filter - can't remmember the make off-hand. Which jets should I change and what for? Thank you. I will do a check. I had a scottoiler fitted about 800 miles ago. I wonder if the lune to it has come loose.

I'm on holiday in Brittany on the bike. It's been hunting at constant revs around the 3000 mark. It's particularly bad in gears one to fours. It only seems most noticable when the throttle is on the balance point between accelerate and overrun. It engine related, clutch in and disappears. Any ...

I have the same questions as the original post to be honest. The trouble is there are a lot of opinions about them, but very little evidence. A lot of guys say they are rubish, but they haven't used (or know anyone who has) them. iPods are made in China and they work well! It all depends on the spec ...
