Just my opinion, of course, no 'fence intended to those who walk a different path. Kudos to you, 'cause it's down to us all to do what we want with our own bike and then ride it.

age not the problem, came off a bike a few years back and broke collar bone, it still gives me trouble when driving and as a fix fitted higher bars, now can still enjoy the storm witout the pain, you would have to appreciate what the circumstances were where by a simple mod you can still enjoy a pure sports bike without been a valento rossi

You got me thinking Tony to the exact meaning of Kudo too, so I had a little look, this is what I found:-

or their circumstances, all is well if you enjoy 2 wheels and 2 pots, each to what they find suits their own, be it age, model, experince, preferred bike, lifestyle, way of life, what ever, if you enjoy bikes and no the lifestyle fu** anyone who thinks they no better, its usually a git who bought his first bike in his 40's and read all the magazine's about bikes in his 20's who thinks he knows more about bikes than the guy riding all his life

I'll wrestle control back and try and get back on topic.

Seems the problem is the clip on is bent. I havent the tools to straighten it so my question is. Changing clip ons? Its a right side so throttle side (obviously) how hard is it or is it just a case of losening the gubbins attached and sliding them off and replacing them on the new clip on?

For those that have followed my tragic story so far the bike is now back on the road. Brake lever is bent to buggery still but its ridable and a mate and myself replaced the hanger and footpeg today. 2 grown men swearing at a swing arm with a hand full of back wheel trying to get the swing arm pin back in. Almost comical but that was the hardest part of the operation.

you cant slide the switchgear or stop button off as they both have a little retaining lug that lines up with a hole.

examine the throttle tube before you refit it as it might be split if it's had a belt.
might be a good time to fit a rvf750 one

i had maxxis m6029 which are surprisingly good and were very cheap at the time.
since then though ive been running pirelli supercorsa 3ct ex bsb scrubs and they are absolutely awesome.
got some dragons in the garage that i was gong to fit next but just sorted a deal on a set of racetecs so will be giving them a try

the racetecs & supercorsas come in at £70 a set... done over 3k on the last set & still maybe 1k road or a hard trackday left in them.
