I have dot4 fluid...
So it is the same fluid for clutch and break .. ?

Take it the spark plugs are under the base of the air-filter container - can't see how to get that orft :(
One is under the tank ( Rear one that is ).To find the front plug,if you look at the front of the engine from under the headlight you should spot it, or at least the lead to it.
I was probably near you today, had a ride out to baldock, via Bishops Stortford etc.

I looked everywhere under the tank with air filter removed (but not base of container).

Thanks for the info.. I shall try again..

Yeah - I am Much Hadham, so no distance for your passing :)

Its not under the air filter. Look at the top of the engine ( cam cover ) behind the airbox and in front of the seat.

Much Hadham......Cant place it, but definately seen it somewhere before lol.

Thank you. :)

I don't like to put anyone out. . . You in Hertford?

I am worried about doing the CCt's - front one looks tricky to get too.

Oh and is it true that you have to measure the 'depth' of the sparks sommit before they go on?

Trying really hard to do this on my own.. pleased I have done what I have so far :)

I did mine last weekend. Believe it or not the hardest thing that I found is just getting the spanners into that front CCT, just cos of that coolant pipe...grrrrrr. However, Really had no probs since, bike is running A1, just got to grab a finned R/R and she's all good.

If you need help, PM me. I really dont mind getting my hands dirty, as long as the kettle stays fairly warm lol!!

I'm in Romford Essex, about half hour away. PM me if you want, not a problem !!

If it makes you feel better, and feel like riding to Brentwood, Essex, then we'll get it done at mine. I have all the required tools, Abba stands and so on. Only take an hour or so, then you're done !!

Cheers for that Kev. Good to know there's a get out of jail free card around the corner !

Now that I have 'eventually' found the front spark... how on EARTH do you reach it? I can't even see what size nut it has.

Also, when you bleed the front breaks do you do both sides?

I know... I am slow.

The spark plug spanner in the tool kit should fit ( not that I've ever used it )

easiest way to get at the front plug is with a long extension bar & 12mm socket over the plug socket from the toolkit - access it from between the forks, on top of the front mudguard.

and yes, bleed the front brakes one at a time.
it helps if the side youre bleeding is slightly higher than the other, so you may need an assistant to lean it over on the right side to do the left caliper :) hth?
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
