Hi-level Exhaust Spacers?

The spacers on mine are 51mm long by 20mm external width. If you want to know the internal size of the bore I will take one off tomorrow for you.

Careful how you do this- I found that to get the minimum length for the spacers (and therefore reduce the force needed to bend the bolts) they wouldn't quite clear the original hangers, so I relieved the casting with a file to clear round the exhausts.

I also found that pushing the LH pipe on further onto the system collector made more clearance that side; but there's only so far you can go before the link pipe meets the swingarm at some points of the rear suspension movement.
You don't want to mark the SA if you can help it....

I'd advise pillions not do put their full weight on the pegs when getting on and off, once you've extended the bolts. The bolts themselves seem to bend before the subframe does, which is a good thing. But it'll re-align your exhausts if this happens, and can once again mean that the pipe touches the SA.

How about a link strap that not only mounts onto the subframe points, but also extends underneath the undertray, connecting the two sides?

That would be a lot stronger.

I phoned them this morning and asked them if they could supply spacers only with bolts. i told them i had hi level pipes on, and that was it.

Would be nice to have it on here even for future reference as it looks quite common for second hand high levels to be missing the spacers
